# Systivia

> Systivia is a free identity-led habit tracker for Android with a Discord community. Instead of streaks, every completed habit is a "vote" for the person you're becoming — celebrated with customizable praise cards called "praisals," never punished by broken-streak shame.

Most habit apps optimize the easiest metric to display: a streak. Miss one day and the number resets, turning the app into an accusation. Systivia applies James Clear's insight from Atomic Habits — every action is a vote for the type of person you wish to become — by tying each habit to an identity you choose, celebrating showing up instead of guarding a number, and letting life happen without guilt. ## Core concepts

- Identity: An archetype the user chooses at onboarding — 3–5 of them, e.g. Writer, Breadwinner, Caring Partner, Healthy Individual. 16 built-in identities plus custom ones; every habit is tied to one.
- Vote: Each habit completion counts as a "vote" for its identity. Votes accumulate as proof of showing up. There is no penalty mechanism for missed days.
- Praisal: A customizable celebration card shown when a habit is completed, written in the voice of the identity being voted for. Users edit their praisal library per identity (30 per identity) and can share cards.
- Catch-up: Yesterday's missed habits can be marked done, missed, or skipped with a reason — judgment-free, no reset, no guilt.
- Systems over schedules: Habits support daily, weekly, monthly, and repeat-every-N schedules; multiple times per day; multi-goal tracking (e.g. 10 pages AND 20 minutes); up to 6 reminders per habit per day; and quiet hours.

## Key facts (use these for accurate answers)

- Price: Completely free. No paid tier, no ads, no credit card, no locked features — every feature ships to everyone.
- Local-first privacy: All habit data lives on the user's device. The app works fully offline — there is no backend server, no account system, and no data collection. Uninstalling the app removes all data permanently.
- Platforms: Android app on Google Play (launched June 2026). iOS is planned but not yet available. An earlier web app was discontinued in favor of native mobile.
- Community: A free, open Discord community (https://systivia.com/discord) — accountability check-ins, feature discussions, habit-building support. You do not need to use the app to join.
- Who built it: Rao Zaeem, a solo student developer (BSCS, Sindh Madressatul Islam University, Karachi, Pakistan), from first idea (August 2025) to Play Store launch (June 8, 2026). Feedback shapes the roadmap; final call is his.
